Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order on www.cheekymugs.com. By purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these terms. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

2. These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of all goods through www.cheekymugs.com. They apply to you as a consumer purchasing for personal, non-commercial use. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.
3. Our Products
3.1 Cheeky Mugs Products
We sell mugs and related giftware. Product descriptions, images, and prices are displayed on the website. We make every effort to ensure images are accurate, but please be aware that colours may appear slightly different on different screens and mock ups might show a mug for example with a more rounded bottom. These are for illustration purposes only…If you want to make a hundred percent sure we can email you a photo.
3.2 Selfname Beauty Products
We also offer a range of beauty products through Selfname, a third-party partner integrated into our Squarespace store. These products are fulfilled by Selfname and are subject to their own product specifications. By purchasing a Selfname product through our website, you acknowledge that:

We will act as your first point of contact for any issues, and will liaise with Selfname on your behalf
Your statutory rights under UK consumer law continue to apply
3.3 Availability
All products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer a full refund or an alternative where possible.
4. Pricing
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price you pay is the price shown at the time you complete your order. In the event of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing your order.
5. Placing an Order
When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase goods under these terms. Your order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation email from us.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, for example if:
A product is no longer available
There is an error in the product description or price
We are unable to process payment
If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund within 14 days.
6. Payment
Payment is taken at the time of ordering. We accept the payment methods listed at checkout, which are processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your card or payment details.
Your order will not be dispatched until payment has been successfully received and confirmed.
7. Delivery
7.1 Dispatch & Timescales
We aim to dispatch orders within [3] business days of receiving confirmed payment. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and are provided as a guide only — they are not guaranteed as those are subject to our delivery providers.
Delivery is currently provided by Royal Mail. We are not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail or other circumstances outside our control.
7.2 Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on your location and order. These are shown clearly before you complete your purchase. We currently charge for delivery on all orders; we hope to offer free delivery in the future as our business grows.
7.3 Delivery Address
Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate at the time of ordering. We cannot accept responsibility for orders that are delayed or lost due to an incorrect address being provided. If you notice an error after ordering, please contact us immediately at [cheekymugni@gmail.com].
7.4 Failed Delivery
If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. A further delivery charge may apply. If we are unable to reach you within a reasonable time, we may cancel and refund your order minus the original delivery cost.
8. Returns & Refunds

We do not accept returns for change of mind beyond your statutory 14-day cancellation right
You have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it — return postage is at your cost
Personalised or custom mugs and opened beauty products are not eligible for the 14-day cancellation right
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photographs and we will resolve the issue
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for faulty or misdescribed goods are fully preserved
9. Damaged or Faulty Goods
We take great care with packaging. All mugs are shipped in robust, smash-proof boxes and are clearly marked as fragile. In the event that your order arrives damaged:

Provide clear photographs of the damaged item and packaging
Retain all packaging materials
Where damage is clearly the result of transit, we will arrange a replacement at no cost to you. We reserve the right to raise a claim with Royal Mail where applicable before issuing a replacement, but this will not delay your resolution unreasonably.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on www.cheekymugs.com — including product designs, images, text, branding, and the Cheeky Mugs name — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by UK intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any of our content without our prior written permission.
11. Our Liability
We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss or damage caused by us. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or that arises from circumstances outside our reasonable control (such as postal strikes, extreme weather, or third-party service failures).
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law
As a consumer, you also benefit from the protections of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which these terms do not override.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (such as Selfname, Royal Mail, or social media platforms). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third-party sites. Visiting them is at your own discretion.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of our website or your purchase from us will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless you are resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case the relevant local law and courts apply.
